With the summer just around the corner, educator Isabel has come up with a fun and heartwarming Idea for our preschoolers--- and It Involves a stuffed animal! We're excited to Introduce two cuddly stuffed animals that the class will decide to keep for our room and also pick out a name for. The preschoolers voted on the chicken banana, who they named Bob! along with the stuffy, when Its your child's turn they will also be bringing home a journal to capture their adventures together. Families are encouraged to Include a photo, a cute message, a drawing, or any other way to share their special memory from their time with Bob. Through this activity, the goal Is to allow children to experience responsibility and care. We also wonder If they will do the same with their favourite stuffy at home.
Each Thursday, a new friend will be chosen to take the stuffy home, and It should be returned the following Wednesday. for the first week, we picked a name of out the basket and the first preschool friend to take Bob home Is Walter. It was interesting to read the cute message that Walter's family wrote about Bob getting surgery. We can't wait to see what other wonderful memories you create and document. Let the adventures begin!
