A Month of Seasonal Changes!

Program Name: Preschool 1

As we embrace the arrival of the fall season, our environment undergoes a captivating transformation. The leaves begin to don their vibrant hues which sparks new interests and curiosities in the hearts of our Preschool 1 room. As they keenly observe the changes in their environment around them, we've introduced a range of tailored learning experiences to nurture their inquisitive minds and support their growth as we go through a season full of change!

During this fall season, our preschoolers have delved into the world of textures. They discovered textures of pinecones, acorns, gourds and other items, exploring how these natural treasures can enrich their learning experiences. These items have become a tool for creative crafts and props for imaginative dramatic play. As part of our fall adventures the preschoolers also engaged in apple picking, bravely climbing ladders to pluck apples from our makeshift tree, fostering a sense of risk-taking and accomplishment. Moreover, the preschoolers have also noticed how the colours of leaves have been changing around them, which inspired us to make our own fall leaves. The children mixed paint to make their own unique fall leaf, showcasing their creativity while reflecting on the changes in their environment.
