March 28, 2022 marks a historic day for child care in our province and brings great news for families with children 6 and under.
The Ontario and federal governments announced an agreement to implement the CWELCC funding program in Ontario. A national, universal child care system will now become a reality!

- help lower child care fees for parents of children under the age of six

Addressing Affordability
- is under the age of six
- turns six years old and is enrolled in a licensed preschool, kindergarten or family age group or a licensed home child care premises, until June 30
- The fee reductions also apply to parents who are receiving partial fee subsidy with a parent contribution.
- The average calculation includes those on fee subsidy and those who pay child care fees directly.
RisingOaks has been Approved!
RisingOaks Early Learning has been approved and is operating under the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program.

- For those in before and after school who turn 6 prior to June 30, they will qualify for the remainder of the school year.
- If a child turns six on or after July 1, they will only qualify for reduced fees until the end of their birthday month.
