Walks Around the Pond

Program Name: Toddler 1

The sunny weather has finally arrived and we have been taking advantage of it! Our children love bugs and seeing different animals so we decided to head off to the forest and pond to see what we could find. During our last few adventures to the pond, we have seen a lot of ducks and Canadian Geese. Eugene has been very set on seeing a frog at the pond but unfortunately, we think they are still sleeping. ! I am sure soon enough we will see some frogs there. During our walks we could hear some noises in the forest so we stopped to listen. We looked across the forest and saw a big construction site on the other side. Myles was so excited, he held his hand up to his ear and listened. When we heard a big bang he yelled "Dump truck, I hear Dump truck!". We spotted a few caterpillars on the pathway and made sure to watch out for them as we observed they are very slow. Mason and Sophia were so interested they picked one up to look at it closer. These neighborhood walks have also allowed us to practice our handholding and being responsible for having a buddy. We can't wait to see what else we find on our next adventures to the pond!
