Eligibility

• For kids JK to 12 years of age.
• Only those registered in RisingOaks' before and after school program, a sibling, or a child of a RisingOaks' employee is eligible to attend Winter Break Camp.
• We are unable to accept care requests from those at another school or non-RisingOaks' families.

How to Register

Parents with a child registered in the JKK or school-age before/after school program will be able to schedule their child for PA Days, Winter Break and March Break via the Digibot Parent Portal.

• Log in to your Digibot account
• Click on PD Days & Camps. A list of available days for full-day care will be shown.
• Select the PA Days, Winter Break and March Break camp days you wish to register for.
• Click on the blue Add Selected Days button at the bottom.

That’s it. You’re registered. Any days you selected will show up in your portal under PD Days & Camps > Existing Registrations. You’ll also receive an email confirmation.

Important Notes re: Registration/Cancellation.

• Space is limited.
• Register early.
• Siblings or staff chilren, who do not attend a RisingOaks' before/after school program must be manually registered. Please contact the centre of your choosing to do so. 
  • click on Locations in the main # for phone numbers and email addresses.
• The cut-off date to add days, or to cancel days that you have registered for is December 9, 2024.

What does a typical day look like?
We have a balance of indoor and outdoor play, special guests, field trips and cooking experiences.

Spending as much time as possible outdoors, your child has the opportunity for rich learning experiences and fresh air. This is a time for group games, sledding, fort building and snow play. Children experience social interaction and creative learning together.

Inside the classroom RisingOaks learners do creative activities focused on their interests.

Our hours are typically 6:30 am - 6:00 pm and you choose the time of drop off and pick up. (Note - hours may vary by centre, check with the centre Supervisor to confirm.)

Nutritious afternoon snacks are provided by our in-house cook. Please provide a morning snack and lunch for your child. A Bag Lunch Policy is in effect for Winter Break Camp.
