Program Name: School-age 3

This month has been filled with meaningful learning experiences, creativity, and friendship! In honor of Black History Month, the children took the lead in selecting influential Black leaders to learn about. Through stories, discussions, and hands-on activities, they explored the lives and achievements of these inspiring individuals. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they shared their learning through art, storytelling, and dramatic play. They created beautiful artwork and posters showcasing what they have learned and even engaged in role playing activities to bring their historical figures to life. These activities helped deepen their understanding of diversity, resilience, and the contributions of Black leaders throughout history.

For Valentine’s Friendship Day, children enjoyed making special cards for their friends and families. Using a variety of materials, they created unique designs and wrote thoughtful messages, celebrating kindness and friendship in our classroom. They designed and decorated heartfelt cards, writing kind messages to celebrate their friends. These activities reinforce the values of kindness, connection, and gratitude in our classroom. Children also expressed their appreciation for their friends in creative ways. They made thoughtful friendship bracelets, carefully choosing colors and patterns to represent their special bonds.

Thank you for your ongoing support!  We look forward to another exciting month of learning and discovery.

Kind regards,
