This month, the infants enjoyed a variety of holiday-themed activities. One highlight was decorating their own stockings to help get into the festive spirit. We used red and green foam stockings and a variety of colourful stickers. The children were excited to choose their stickers and place them wherever they wanted, showing lots of curiosity and creativity. As they peeled and pressed the stickers, they practised their fine motor skills and stayed focused on their work. We discussed different colours and looked closely at the pictures on the stickers, helping the children build their language skills and deepen their understanding of the world around them. Completing this activity together fostered a strong sense of community, as children observed and encouraged one another. It was a simple and joyful experience that kept everyone engaged and involved.
