This month, we introduced the infants to cloud dough; a soft and mouldable material. Along with the dough, we provided various tools like shape cutters and spoons. The activity was fun and helped the infants learn new skills while they explored the dough. The infants used their hands and fingers to squeeze, pinch, and shape the dough. This helped strengthen their small muscles and improved their hand-eye coordination.
Playing with cloud dough provided a unique sensory experience. Its soft and mouldable texture allowed the children to explore touch and develop their sense of feel. While playing together, the infants watched each other, shared tools, and even passed dough to one another. This helped them learn cooperation and turn taking.
The cloud dough activity turned out to be a wonderful way for the infants to play, learn, and explore. It was a simple, engaging experience that supported their growth and development in many ways.
