This month, School-age 3 children have shown interest in exploring ideas, plans, and setting goals for the year ahead. Educator Erum has been helping children think about their hopes and dreams for the year ahead by creating vision boards. This creative activity encourages them to visualize their goals and reflect on what makes them excited about learning and growing. Through drawings, cutting out pictures, and adding words and symbols, the children have been exploring what they want to learn or improve such as trying new foods, making new friends, showing empathy and what activities or experiences they are excited about. Also, how they can help others at home, at school or in the community. This activity sparks creativity and helps children build self awareness, goal setting skills, and confidence where they identify their interests, think about what they want to achieve and celebrate their dreams and feeling proud of their work.
The vision boards reflect a wide range of hopes, from learning new skills, exploring outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with loved ones to fostering kindness and friendship. This activity not only encouraged self-expression but also helped the children set meaningful goals and build a sense of purpose for the year. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and thoughtfulness and look forward to supporting their journeys throughout 2025. Thank you for your continued support in fostering a collaborative and positive learning environment.
