Great Adventures

Dad and Mom, with the nicer weather approaching, my educators like to take advantage of the time spent outside. Taking me on adventures around the neighbourhood, from community walks, to park visits and even trail adventures. As I do these activities I build confidence in my growing abilities. Starting, stopping, walking and running, help to build balance and coordination. Climbing and sliding down the slides builds risk taking, and my judgement of skills, allowing me to problem solve and make decisions in which I feel safe. My educators encourage my independence, as they encourage me to lead the way, enhancing our listening skills, as I am asked, “which way are we going?” stop and wait or even let’s hurry, so I can catch up with my friends.  Who knew so much learning and growing happens when I head out. I’m so excited for the warm weather to continue to see where the next adventure will take me. Maybe, we can try one of these adventures at home so you can see my developing skills.
