During Campers ‘Artful Antics’ week their creative spirits soared as they engaged in a vibrant and collaborative activity called mosaic chalk art. The tarmac became our canvas, where campers came together to transform the ordinary pavement into a colourful masterpiece! Campers tool ownership of a shape, picked a colour of chalk and coloured it, contributing to a unique collective piece of artwork. The project fostered creativity and teamwork, with everyone sharing ideas and working together to bring the final pieces to life. The final mosaics were a stunning display of colour and imagination, showcasing the power of collaboration amongst the campers. The children were thrilled with the final outcome, and their excitement was visible as they walked around admiring the work they had all contributed to. This experience not only nurtured their artistic skills but also fostered a sense of belonging and accomplishment that will stay with them long after the chalk has faded away.
