With hot summer quickly coming to an end, we welcome the cooler temperatures and changes that come with fall. Welcoming new infants and families into our program room. We create an environment inviting and cultivate a sense of belonging for all who enter. We have our families bring in a picture for our family tree, so the infants can see not only their family, but also the families of their peers. As well as photos and documentation of individual and peer development and learning. As we are creating bonds with the children in the room, we are also creating bonds with parents as we talk about their child and what they may need during their day, but also getting to know families on a more personal level. Within our program room we as educators observe the infant's interests and incorporate those interests into our environment. Creating a welcoming space for all to enjoy and feel at home.
