Objectives: To learn about where and how different insects make their homes.
While being behind the school and during field trips; the groups initial discovery and observations of insects sparked a desire to learn more about them and their habitats. The class participated in a virtual tour and information session with the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. After further research and gathering of materials, kids worked together to create a bug hotel with different compartments to house a variety of insects.
