Objectives: To introduce the children to Construction vehicles. This project was child initiated by the children showing an interest in the 3 Little pigs. IInitially the Educators thought the project would be about structures, although once we started investigation it was about Construction vehicles.
The Educators were co-learners along with the children as they learned about the different vehicles. Being able to sit in the backhoe was definitely a highlight of this project. The educators were able to bring hands on materials for the children to manipulate and learn with, creating an environment full of learning.
