Egg Frittata Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10 eggs

  • ½ cup shredded cheese

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 1 cup half-and-half cream

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 cups chopped vegetables (e.g., mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, broccoli)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the pan:
    Place the ¼ cup of butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Put the dish in the oven while it preheats to melt the butter. Remove once melted.

  3. Make the egg mixture:
    In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cheese, half-and-half, salt, and pepper. Stir in the chopped vegetables of your choice.

  4. Bake the frittata:
    Pour the mixture into the buttered baking dish. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the center is set and no longer jiggly.

  5. Serve:
    Let the frittata rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
